Before I outline these steps, I want to put out a disclaimer. If done correctly, you will likely end up with the person you want to attract. However, that doesn’t mean that the person is right for you or meant for you. It just means that you’re a mighty creature.

Whether you and the person are right for each other will depend on so many factors. And even these factors may even change based on life decisions and the path you decide to take. That being said let’s get to it.

1. Change The Way You Think About Yourself And That Person:

This means that you’re going to let go of limiting beliefs, you’re going to improve your vibration, you’re going to focus on the thoughts and feeling of having that person, and you’re going to continue to work on yourself and enjoy your life in the present moment.

Change of perception is what separates a fan from a potential love interest. Changing your perception will put you on an even playing field with this specific person and with anybody else who desires this person.

You have to change the way that you look at yourself, the way that you look at this person, and the way that you look at yourself in regards to this person.

What I want you to do is to stop looking at the object of your affection as an object like as a prize that you’re chasing after. You might not literally be thinking this person is my prize, but you are most likely treating them that way energetically or physically.

2. Do Not See It As A Challenge:

Very often I see people getting competitive and look at getting someone to notice them as a challenge. Not only will that put you in the wrong mental state, but it is not fair to that person because they are not your prize.

This gives off the wrong vibrations for several reasons which I will share with you later. You have to start believing that this person is your equal- take them off that pedestal. When we idolize the people that we desire, we put physical distance between ourselves and them.

3. Improve Your Energy:

This is a lot like raising your vibration. However, it also entails working on past trauma or experiences that are weighing your energy down, and creating resistance and limiting beliefs.

Improving your energy means addressing your issues with finding love in general and your issues with having a relationship with the person you want to attract.

To work through this resistance, especially if it is a subconscious one you have no idea about, you want to think of all the negative things that could come from you being with this specific person.

This could range from you being afraid the person might cheat on you, or is going to hurt you, or any thought that is negative surrounding that situation you need to write it down and address it.

Trust me you have these thoughts buried down beneath you, so just think about what could happen that could be bad if you get the person in your life. This is the time to work on believes that you have created based on infidelity, insecurity, and failure.

4. Clear Up Your Thoughts:

Once you have identified all these negative energies hiding beneath your conscious mind, then it is time to clear them up.

You need to question them: Are they objectively true? Can you move on from them? Can you get over them? Can they be fixed? Can you let go of that fear of getting cheating on, or getting hurt again?. In order to be with this person, you need to clear your thoughts by asking yourself these questions.

This also means you need to clear up your act in general. If you’re doing anything damaging to yourself, you have to stop it now. This covers anything from negative self-talk such as you say, you’re too ugly for that person, the person will never take you seriously, or even you thinking you’re not good enough.

Also, you need to stop physical harm like physical abuse or drug abuse- you need to stop all of that now, and get your acts together.

This step might be the most difficult barrier to overcome because negative self-talk has been ingrained so deeply within us but it is time to rethink all those thoughts and rethink your life. 5. Focus On The Feeling: (MASSIVELY IMPORTANT)

Focusing on the feeling of having that person that you love will shift the attention off of absence. Focusing on the feeling is even crucial than visualizing. I find that when we want something, we are super-focused on not having them already.

We always think in terms of ” I will be happy when this person is back in my life or is in my life” or you think ” I will be happy when I am in a relationship”.

This is so counter-productive because these thoughts and feelings are making more lack for you. These thoughts indicate to the universe that, you do not have that relationship, and you’re focused on not having it. So, the universe will give you more of not having it.

So, in order to focus on your feelings and to put all that tension on those good feelings, and high vibrational feelings, I want you to imagine the way that you will feel when you’re with this person.

This includes when you meet them for the first time, or on your first date, your first kiss, or whatever it may be, all I want you to do is to focus on how awesome it will be.

Think about those positive emotions and write them down, and think about how you will feel with them on a day to day basis.

6. Live Your Life Feeling These Emotions:

After you’ve written those feelings down it is now time to start living a life in which you are already feeling these feelings. That includes doing things that make you feel happy, confident, secure, stable, and successful all the time.

Just do things that make you feel accomplished and worth-while. Because at the end of the day, this is how we want to feel when we are with the person that we love or want to attract.

7. Detach Yourself:

As mentioned earlier, you need to stop treating the person you wanna attract as a prize. This includes texting them first and always, you need to stop that. When you stop that, not only will they start noticing you, they might also start showing some romantic interest in you.

When our energy doesn’t give off signs of desperation or need, people can feel that. I understand that you want to be with somebody so bad and immediate. However, you have to let go of that urgency. This is when you need to take on the aura of detachment.

9. Visualize:

This is the last but crucial step because if you do not get the other steps mentioned above right or try to make them work, this might backfire on you- it might lead to feelings of lack.

When you have had the chance to change your perspective of yourself, to improve your vibration, to focus on the feelings and everything I mentioned above, you will be at the perfect vibration and place to visualize.

When you are ready to visualize, try to see yourself with this person very clearly. Create a vivid picture of yourself with them. This includes what you will be doing, what your life will be with them, what you will look like together, where you will live and stuffs like that. See those images very clearly.

Note that, you cannot visualize at the same time you do the other steps. Just make sure that you’re giving off an easy vibration instead of that desperate urgent vibration that I discussed earlier.

If you feel like when you’re visualizing, the feelings and thoughts aren’t aligning with that visualization, do this visualization only after completing these other steps.

    I’ve been skeptical of the “Law of Attraction” in the past, but I think I just haven’t tried it enough yet.
    I like your tip about not considering the other person a challenge. Sometimes it’s better to relax and let other people live their life and not try so hard to be with one specific person.

    Work on yourself is my favorite tip here. Definitely a great idea- not only will you become better, you can become busy enough to distract yourself from the person you may be pining after. Whether or not they like you more as a result is generally immaterial because then you’re becoming happier regardless of their presence in your life. Becoming happy when alone is almost a superpower of sorts.

    Thank you for this very uplifting post. I’m also a great believer in law of attraction and practice some of the techniques you described. I would like to attract my ex back into my life and have already been using visualisation, but will now start focusing on feelings as well. My downfall has been lack of self belief and reading your post has given me a lot to think about 🙂
